The natural scenery is beautiful and diverse, and there are many excellent beaches. To the west of the scenic area are Fujiazhuang and Fujiazhuang Park, where there is a 550 meter long Fujiazhuang beach with a total area of 26000 square meters, running in an east-west direction. The beach is wide with gentle slopes and fine sand, the seawater is clean, the water is clear and the waves are flat, and the bathhouse service facilities are complete. It is one of the four major bathhouses in Dalian. Fujiazhuang is located west of Yanwo Ridge and east of Baiyun Mountain Villa, covering an area of 40 hectares. This area is full of mountains, islands, reefs, and forests, with a serene and beautiful environment. In the sea not far from the shore, there are several small islands such as Dongdalian, Xidalian, Ertuo, and Laobian. To the east of the scenic area are resorts and tourism service centers. Legend has it that more than 300 years ago, a fisherman surnamed Fu drifted across the sea from Shandong and came here to settle down. Gradually, more residents gathered here, and they called this place "Fujiazhuang" or Xinghaitun. Over the years, it was also commonly known as "Fujiazhuang". Before liberation, this was a remote fishing village where more than twenty households of fishermen made a living by farming and fishing. Due to the fact that the bay in front of the village is a natural bathhouse, many people come here during the summer to escape the heat and bathe in the sea. After the liberation, the municipal government has opened this place as one of the four major bathhouses in Dalian. Later, more than ten seaside sanatoriums were successively built nearby. In 1980, Fujiazhuang Park was built in the coastal area. Later, it became a part of the Dalian Seaside Scenic Area. This scenic area has unique natural landscapes, with high slopes in the east and west, open beaches in the middle, and large islands facing the coast in the east and west, forming a multidimensional space of sea, mountains, islands, reefs, and beaches, with beautiful and diverse scenery

Long ago, there was a poor young man surnamed Fu who fled from Shandong and came here to make a living by fishing. He is hardworking, brave, handsome, and skilled in playing the flute. The magical and wonderful sound of the flute reached the Crystal Palace deep in the sea, and the Dragon Maiden was mesmerized by it. She made up her mind to search for the flute player. Later, with the help of Old Crab Lady, Dragon Girl and Fisherman finally met and gradually developed love. But this matter was discovered by the Dragon King, who sent sailors to injure the Fisherman and locked the Dragon Maiden in her boudoir. One day, with the help of Old Crab Lady, the Dinghai Divine Sword was stolen, allowing Dragon Maiden to escape from the Crystal Palace. The Dragon King led his troops to chase after her and engaged in a fierce battle in the sea. At this critical moment, he was fortunate enough to receive the help of Erlang God. With three strikes of "pa, pa, pa", the four generals of Fish, Turtle, Shrimp, and Crab were instantly transformed into four islands: Dongdan, Xidan, Ertuo, and Laobian. The Dragon King became increasingly fierce and furious, leaving the Dragon Maiden helpless. She had no choice but to use the Sea God Sword to cast a spell, causing the Old Dragon King to fall into the depths of the sea. Afterwards, the wind was calm and the sky was filled with colorful clouds, and the loyal Old Crab Lady slowly climbed ashore carrying the Dragon Maiden.
