Introduction to the Scenic Area (5A level Scenic Area)
The Puzhehei Scenic Area in Qiubei, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, is located at the intersection of Provincial Highway 305 and Provincial Highway 206 in Qiubei County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, 13 kilometers away from the county seat. The total area of the scenic area is 388 square kilometers, with a core area of 165 square kilometers. It belongs to the karst area in southeastern Yunnan and is a typical karst landform. It is known for its six major landscapes: "water fields, lake peak forests, Yi water towns, karst wetlands, lotus world, and bird paradise"
There are 265 scenic spots in the Puzhehei Scenic Area in Qiubei, Wenshan Prefecture, each with its own unique features. There are 312 isolated peaks, 83 caves, 54 interconnected lakes, 20000 acres of clear and transparent water surface, 13 kilometers of magnificent Grand Canyon, 3 kilometers of mysterious and ancient Tea Horse Road, and 40000 acres of plateau karst wetlandsIn 2004, the Puzhehei Scenic Area in Qiubei, Wenshan Prefecture was named a national scenic spot by the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Swan Lake Scenic Area
Swan Lake Scenic Area is located in the Puzhehei Karst National Wetland Park and is the most representative karst wetland habitat for migratory birds in southwestern China, The unique natural landscape and special karst lake wetland ecosystem are formed by the integration of wetlands and rocky mountain peaks, presenting a high-altitude water town scene where water and sky merge into one color and thousands of birds gather. Swan Lake was built on October 1, 2013. The habitat for migratory birds in Swan Lake covers an area of 3 square kilometers, including a wetland area of 2.6 square kilometers. It consists of four types: river wetlands, lake wetlands, swamp wetlands, and artificial wetlands, including karst solitary peaks, lakes, caves, and wetland ecosystems
Swan Lake has rich biodiversity, with over 200 species of wetland animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and birds. You can see birds such as the white boned top chicken, the pincer billed stork, the white egret, and the spotted billed duck. Wetland plants include seaweed flowers, golden lotus flowers, fine golden fish algae, agave plants, wild water chestnuts, wild lotus flowers, etc
Shede Grassland
Shede Grassland, Shede is in Yi language, Shede: Qing; De: Wa, meaning Wa Tang Qing. Shede Scenic Area is mainly known for its grasslands, plateau scenery, famous specialties, rich ethnic customs, and revolutionary base areas. Shede Grassland covers an area of over 100000 acres, making it the largest grassland in Yunnan Province. Known as the 'Little Shangri La' of Wenshan. Shede Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Qiubei County, 56 kilometers away from the county seat. Tourists can drive or take the shuttle bus to get there. There is the highest mountain peak in Qiubei County, Yangxiong Mountain, with an altitude of over 2500 meters. The mountain is covered by primitive forests and towering ancient trees. Looking east from the top of Yangxiong Mountain, you can see the picturesque countryside scenery of Puzhehei. Yangxiong Mountain faces Maitreya and Huxi across the river to the west, with Nanpan River at the foot of the mountain
Bailong Lake Scenic Area
Bailong Lake Scenic Area is located in Bailuo Mountain, Bailuo Village, Yuezhe Town, 28 kilometers west of Qiubei County and 15 kilometers away from Puzhehei Scenic Area in Qiubei, Wenshan Prefecture. It belongs to an artificial reservoir, built in 1958, with an altitude of 1494 meters. The total storage capacity is 53.7 million cubic meters, with a dam height of 30.36 meters, a top length of 260 meters, a width of 4 meters, an average water depth of 27 meters, and a water area of 3 square kilometers. It is one of the eight large medium-sized reservoirs in Yunnan Province. Because it was built during the era of the national "General Line, Great Leap Forward, and People's Communes" three red flags, it is also known as the "Red Flag Reservoir". The reservoir is responsible for irrigating over 3.1 million acres of farmland in the county, benefiting more than 200000 people directly. Puzhehei Karst National Wetland Park
Puzhehei Karst National Wetland Park was approved for pilot construction by the State Forestry Administration in 2011 and was listed as one of the 22 key national wetland parks in China in 2015. It is the only wetland park selected in Yunnan Province. Puzhehei Karst National Wetland Park is located 3 kilometers north of Qiubei County, belonging to the the Pearl River water system. The water supply mainly comes from Puzhehei Lake, and finally flows into the the Pearl River through Qingshui River and Nanpan River. The Puzhehei Wetland is located in the tropical limestone mountain plain of Southeast Asia, Yunnan. The wetland integrates with the mountain peak forest, forming a unique natural landscape and a special karst lake wetland ecosystem. It is representative of the karst landforms in Yunnan Guizhou Guangxi in southwestern China. The total planned area of Puzhehei Karst National Wetland Park is 16611 acres, involving 3 townships (towns), 4 village committees, and 22 village groups within the planning area

2. Three Lives and Three Generations filming location: Caihuaqing is one of the main filming locations for the drama. Caihuaqing is located behind Puzhehei Qinglong Mountain and is named after the many cauliflower flowers blooming on the sides where the entire small village is located. Every February, you can see the golden rapeseed flowers on both sides of the road leading to Caihuaqing, and the scenery is very beautiful. The route of the Willow Leaf Boat usually starts from Pucaotang Pier, passes through Xianren Lake, reaches Puzhehei Lake, and finally arrives at Qinglongshan Pier.
