Abstract
Shangri La "is a transliteration of Tibetan language, also translated as" Shangri La ", meaning" paradise ". Shangri La appeared in the novel" The Disappearance of the Horizon "by British author James Hilton in the 1930s and was admired by the world. It was soon adapted into a film of the same name and won multiple Oscars, making it more well-known to the world. Shangri La's Tibetan region has a long history and beautiful natural scenery, with attractions such as Pudacuo National Park, Dukezong Ancient City, Gadan Songzanlin Temple, and Tiger Leaping Gorge. On April 30, 2019, the Yunnan Provincial People's Government decided to withdraw Shangri La from the list of poverty-stricken counties.
