
I. History and culture
•History: Wuli Village was once rated as one of the most beautiful villages in China by National Geographic Magazine, with the title of "Village of Oil Painting". In 2013, it was selected as the most beautiful village in China; on August 18, 2016, it was selected as a new landmark for Yunnan characteristic tourism; on December 31, 2019, it was named the third batch of "Chinese Ethnic Minority Villages" by the National Ethnic Affairs Commission.
• Ethnic composition: mainly Nu residents, in addition to Lisu and Tibetans, are typical villages with relatively complete architectural forms and styles of Nu people in Gongshan Dulong Nu Autonomous County.

• Farming culture: With mountain planting as the main economic support, a production model with farming as the main, supplemented by animal husbandry and the collection of Chinese herbs has been formed. Villagers cultivated fields on the platform on the bank of the Nu River, planted wheat, corn and other crops, creating a unique ecological landscape of "field hanging on the mountain wall", reflecting the external and internal characteristics of the original ecological farming culture.
• Tea-horse ancient road culture: There is a 1.5-kometer-long tea-horse ancient road in the north of the village, which was the only way for the horse gang from Bingzhongluo to Chavalong, Tibet. It proved that Wuli Village was once an important node on the way to the tea-horse ancient road. • Folk culture: The Nu people in Wuli Village retain many unique folk customs, such as the "Fairy Festival", also known as "Flower Festival" and "Nai Still Festival", which is held on March 15 of the lunar calendar every year. In 2006, it was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists. The Nu people also have a unique clothing culture. IV. Traffic Strategies
External traffic:
•Airplane: you can fly to Baoshan or Dali first, then carpool to Gongshan County for about 6 hours, and then transfer to the local van to Bingzhongluo, which takes 1.5 hours.
• Bus: It takes about 12 hours to take the night bus from Kunming West Bus Station to Gongshan, and the fare is about 280 yuan, and then transfer from Gongshan to Bingzhongluo.
Internal traffic:
• Car rental: It is recommended to rent a motorcycle, about 80 yuan/day, and you can gallop freely on the Nujiang Cliff Highway to facilitate visiting various scenic spots.
