III. Play strategy
• Play route: The walking tour route is the entrance → National Square → Pier 1 → Pier 3 → Pier 2 → Return; the boat tour route is the entrance → Ethnic Square → Pier 1 → Boat → Pier 2 → Boat → Pier 3 → Return. It is recommended to take the boat route first, the whole journey is about 90 minutes, specifically the parking lot - scenic spot entrance - ethnic square - No. 1 cruise ship wharf - water cruise wharf - No. 3 cruise terminal - grass row experience area - fish stepping experience area - Swan Lake - food area, and then take a free battery car to the waterfront plank road viewing pavilion, north plank road landscape area, and finally leave from the exit of the scenic spot.
• Must-visit experience: Grass rowing is a special project of the wetland. You can step on the grass row and row, as if floating in the "water grassland". In spring, migratory birds are in groups, and you can shoot black-necked cranes, egrets, etc. on the bird-watching plank road. In the evening, you can walk along the sunset wooden plank road to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the golden sun shining on the water surface of the wetland. You can also rent Dai and Lisu costumes at the entrance of the scenic spot and take photos with the wetland background.
IV. Shooting skills
(I) Core scene shooting skills
1. Grass rows and water: highlighting the "floating feeling"
• Low-angle shooting: squatting on the shore or standing on the grass row, the lens is close to the water surface, using the water reflection and the grass row to form a symmetrical composition to make the picture more open.
• Dynamic capture: When shooting people rowing grass, use shutter priority mode (more than 1/500s) to capture the moment when the oar paddles and grass leaves shake to avoid blurring the picture. If you want to reflect a sense of tranquility, you can slow down the shutter (about 1/30s) to make the surface of the water soft ripples.
• Local close-up: Focus on the moss, aquatic plants on the grass row, or duckweed and deciduous leaves on the water surface, and blur the background with a large aperture (f/2.8-f/5.6) to highlight the texture of the details.
2. Migratory birds and ecology: seize the "natural flexibility"
• Select the position in advance: during the spring bird-watching period, squat near the bird-watching plank road or Swan Lake, choose the backlight or side backlight angle, so that the contour of the migratory bird forms a golden edge (you need to turn on the camera "point metering" to avoid the main body being too dark).
• Equipment preparation: Shoot distant migratory birds with a telephoto lens (more than 200mm) to avoid disturbing them; if there is no telephoto, the composition can be optimized by post-clipping (retaining RAW format) to highlight the main body.
•Environmental integration: Don't just take close-up photos of migratory birds, you can include the grass rows and water surface of the wetland as the foreground or background, reflecting the ecological atmosphere of "birds in the wetland" and avoiding the monotonous picture.
3. Humanities and Clothing: Enhance the "regional atmosphere"
• Clothing matching: When renting Dai and Lisu costumes for shooting, choose a solid color background (such as green grass row, blue sky) to avoid messy background elements; let the character stand on the edge of the grass row, and capture the moment when the skirt floats on the side or turn around, which is more flexible.
• Interactive scene: Guide the model to do natural actions, such as bending down to touch the water grass, looking into the distance, or interacting with the locals who row the grass, and replace the stiff pose with a "sense of story".
• Use of props: Take a local bamboo hat and a bunch of wild flowers as props to make the picture more lively, and at the same time balance the composition of the characters in the picture.
(II) Light and shadow and time period: double the film rate of selecting the right time
1. Early morning (7:00-9:00): Capture "mist and soft light"
• Shooting focus: In the early morning, the wetland is prone to fog. At this time, use a wide-angle lens to shoot a long-range view, so that the fog covers the grass and creates a "wonderland feeling"; if the sun penetrates the mist, you can shoot the scene where the beam is sprinkled on the water surface (a small aperture f/8-f/11 is needed to make the beam clearer).
• Note: The light is weak in the morning. It is recommended to stabilize the camera with a tripod, and the ISO is controlled within 400 to avoid excessive picture noise.
2. Evening (17:00-19:00): Take advantage of "sunset and warm colors"
• Composition skills: Stand on the sunset wooden plank road, put the sunset on the right or left 1/3 of the picture (golden divide point), let the plank road extend in the direction of the sunset, guide the line of sight; at the same time, include the water reflection, so that the warm yellow tone is doubled.
• Character shooting: Let the model turn his back to the sunset, turn around and smile, supplement the light with a reflector or camera built-in flash (to avoid darkening the face), and shoot the effect of "backlight portrait + golden outline".
• Later color matching: retain the orange, yellow and green colors in the picture, appropriately reduce the blue saturation, make the warm tone more prominent, and avoid messy colors.
3. Overcast days: highlight the "fresh texture"
• Shooting ideas: The light is uniform in a cloudy day, which is suitable for the green level of the grass row and the calmness of the water surface. You can try the black and white mode to highlight the lines and textures of the wetland (such as the grid of the grass row and the straight line of the plank road).
• Color adjustment: If you want to make the picture fresher, you can improve the saturation of green and cyan in the later stage, reduce the contrast, simulate the "Japanese small fresh" style, and avoid gray on cloudy days.
V. Dressing Suggestions
The temperature difference between morning and evening in Tengchong Beihai Wetland Scenic Area is large, and the ultraviolet rays are strong. Clothing should follow the principle of keeping warm and sun protection.
• Top: When the temperature is high during the day, you can wear a light short-sleeved T-shirt or a short suit made of single-layer cotton and linen fabric, which is convenient for movement, breathable and comfortable. The temperature is low in the morning and evening, and it needs to be matched with a thin coat, such as an Oxford jacket, fleece jacket or windbreaker, which can keep warm and easy to wear and take off. If you go at the end of October, you can also prepare a thin sweater or light down jacket to cope with the possible low temperature.
• Pants: It is recommended to wear thin jeans or casual trousers, which is not only suitable for the slightly cool weather in autumn, but also has a certain casual style, and can also prevent mosquito bites.
• Shoes: Choose comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes. You may need to walk for a long time in the scenic area. Comfortable shoes can make you better enjoy the play process.
• Accessories: Carry sun hats, sunglasses and sunscreen, and have strong ultraviolet radiation at high altitudes, which can effectively protect the skin and eyes from ultraviolet rays. In addition, you can also prepare a scarf, which can be used to keep warm when it is cold in the morning and evening.
