
Beijing Wildlife Park is located in Yuqi Town, Daxing District, Beijing. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot integrating domestication and breeding, scientific research, popular science education and leisure tourism.
I. Basic information
• Tickets: 120 yuan for adult general tickets, 60 yuan for children/elderly tickets (free tickets for children under 1.2 meters). It is recommended to buy a joint ticket of ordinary ticket + sightseeing bus, 50 yuan per person, which is relatively labor-saving.
• Opening hours: usually from 9:00 to 18:30, and admission to the park is closed at 17:00. There is usually one animal show and one science museum at 10:30 and 14:30.
II. Traffic Guide
• Public transportation: You can take subway Line 4 to Tiangongyuan Station and transfer to Xing 23 or Xing 67 bus directly to the entrance of the scenic spot; you can also transfer to bus No. 42 at Biomedical Base Station.
• Self-driving/Taxi: Self-driving direct navigation "Beijing Wildlife Park", parking fee is 20 yuan/day, it is recommended to arrive early if the parking space is tight in the peak season; just take a taxi to locate the main gate of the scenic spot.
III. Must-visit areas and core points
• Beast Area: You need to take a special vehicle to visit the park, and you can see brown bears, lions, tigers and other beasts. You can buy a special meat feeding for 50 yuan/box. It is recommended to choose the seat on the left or the last row, which is easier to observe animals.
• Self-driving / small train tour area: the route covers Asia, Africa, Australia, etc., and you can see giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other herbivores. The small train is free and has explanations. If you meet animals, it will stop, and the experience will be better. It is recommended to sit on the left. The scenery is good and there are many animals.
• Walking area: There are many core scenic spots, such as Mengbao Kindergarten, which gathers all kinds of animal cubs; Madagascar jungle, where you can interact with ring-tailed lemurs at close range; Red Panda Flower Garden, where you can see the free activities of red pandas; Blue Town, with fresh architectural style, is a popular place for Internet celebrities.
IV. Special animals
Beijing Wildlife Park has more than 300 rare wild animals, covering many characteristic species at home and abroad. The following are some distinctive animals:
• Chimpanzees: Beijing Wildlife Park has the largest chimpanzee population in northern China. From 2016 to April 2023, 8 chimpanzees have been artificially raised, among which Taya, Paul, Nasha, Good and other small chimpanzees are the "bright reds" in the park.
• Red Panda: Red Panda Garden is the most popular Internet celebrity place in the Beijing Wildlife Park. "Kongli" and "Qingfeng" and other star red pandas are sought after by a large number of fans.
• African elephants: In 2017, the Beijing Wildlife Park imported 12 African elephants from Zimbabwe, which are also one of the largest African elephant populations in northern China.
• White tiger: Nearly 20 white tigers live on White Tiger Island in Beijing Wildlife Park. It is a large-scale white tiger population exhibition area in China. Visitors can watch it up close in the beast experience area.
• Ring-tailed lemurs: In the Madagascar jungle in the walking tour area, visitors can intimately interact with ring-tailed lemurs and feed them to feel their liveliness and cuteness.
• Capybara: In April 2023, the capybara exhibition area of Beijing Wildlife Park will be officially opened, and visitors can see the living conditions of this "healing" animal.
• Green-tailed rainbow pheasant: It is a national first-class protected animal, and it has hardly been exhibited in countries around the world. The Beijing Wildlife Park has its artificial breeding population, and visitors can watch this rare bird in the park.
V. Animal show time
In November, the Beijing Wildlife Park is in the off-season. At present, the park mainly has animal behavior displays and ape-related performances. The Magic Forest Castle has previously suspended performances due to the venue decoration. The specific resumption time will be announced separately. The detailed performance time is as follows:

• High-efficiency essence tour (3-4 hours): enter the main entrance → buy Yousutong directly to the beast area → small train to visit the self-driving area → blue town (light meal) → Madagascar jungle (interactive) → cute baby kindergarten → rare animal museum → exit.
VII. Other notes
• When visiting the beast area, you need to close the windows all the way, and it is forbidden to feed. Children need to hold on to the guardrail all the way.
• You can bring some vegetables to feed docile herbivores in the self-driving/small train sightseeing area, but in other areas, you need to buy special feed in the park.
• The park is large, and electric vehicles can be rented in the pedestrian area, 50 yuan/day, which is convenient and labor-saving.
