Kunming World Horticultural Expo Park is the former site of the 1999 World Expo. It is now open for free. It integrates multinational gardens, special venues and plant exhibitions. It is suitable for in-depth tours and leisure walks.

• Opening hours: 8:30-17:00 (day field), the night show is subject to the announcement of the scenic spot.
•Tickets: Free admission to the park, large greenhouse, battery car, sightseeing train, etc. (the round trip of the battery car is 25 yuan/person, the one-way 15 yuan/person).

II. Traffic Guide
•Subway Line 5 "World Expo Park Station" is the most convenient to get off the station.
•Bus: No.47,69,71,182 and other direct access to Expo Park Station.
• Self-driving: Navigation "Kunming World Horticultural Expo Park", the main entrance parking lot is 2 yuan/hour, Gate 2 and China Pavilion parking lot are available. It is recommended to arrive early on weekends.
•In the scenic spot: the battery car covers the main entrance, bonsai garden, Thai garden, etc.; the sightseeing train is about 60 yuan/person, suitable for parents and children.
III. Classic play route
•Essence route (3-4 hours): Gate 2 (China Jinxiu Garden) → Beijing Garden / Huipai Garden → Yunnan Garden → International Exhibition Area (Thailand Golden Pagoda, Dutch Windmill) → Large Greenhouse (Tropical / Temperate / Alpine Plant) → China Pavilion → Huaxia Square → Main Entrance.
• Easy route (2 hours): Expo Ecological City Mingfeng Neighborhood Entrance → Double Heart Plank Road → Southeast Asia Pavilion → International Exhibition Area Small Ring Road → Greater Vancouver Outdoor Encircumference → Expo Lake Walk → Out of the Garden.
• Parent-child route (4 hours): Main entrance → China Pavilion (intangible cultural heritage experience) → large greenhouse (vegetable science popularization) → vegetable melon orchard → bonsai garden → children's play area → international exhibition area (photo interaction) → return journey.
IV. Must-see attractions
• China Pavilion: core landmarks, white walls and green tiles, including Yunnan Garden, Beijing Garden and other domestic characteristic exhibition areas, "Blossom New Century" sculpture must be taken
• Large greenhouse: divided into tropical, temperate and cold belt halls. There are many rare plants. Pay attention to the temperature difference. It is recommended to wear a thin coat.
•International outdoor exhibition area: Thai Golden Pagoda, **** Pavilion, French Rose Garden, etc., exotic filming rate is high.
• China Jinxiu Garden: the epitome of gardens such as Beijing, Suzhou and Huipai. Red walls, green tiles and leaky windows in the south of the Yangtze River are suitable for Hanfu shooting.
• Bamboo Garden / Herbal Garden: There are many varieties of bamboo gardens. Herbal gardens can recognize herbs, which is suitable for the popularization of natural science.
V. Large greenhouse characteristic plants
•Tropical plant exhibition area: there are common tropical plants such as bananas and turtleback bamboo. In addition, there may also be tall palm plants, such as king coconut, whose trunks are straight, the leaves are huge, and they are very tropical.
• Temperate plant exhibition area: succulent plants such as cactus and wine bottle orchids, as well as flowers such as cactus, roses and roses. Among them, three or four colors of leaf flowers on the same tree are also one of the characteristics of the exhibition area.
• Cold Plant Exhibition Area: It mainly displays plants above 3000 meters above sea level. There may be alpine cuckoos, whose flowers are gorgeous and adaptable to the cold environment; there are also some alpine meadows, such as gentian grass, whose plants are short and thick leaves, and can grow in low-temperature and hypoxia environments.
VI. Food and Shopping
•Inside the park: Yunnan snacks (cross-bridge rice noodles, fried potatoes) and simple meals around the Expo Memory Cultural Experience Area and Huaxia Square, the price is slightly higher.
• Surroundings: Expo Eco-City Commercial Street has Yunnan cuisine, hot pot and Southeast Asian cuisine, which are suitable for dinner.
VII. Practical tips
• Wear comfortable sneakers, the park is large, and walk more; the plateau has strong ultraviolet rays and prepare sunscreen and rain gear.
• Large greenhouse, voice tour (about 20 yuan/unit) and other pay on demand, you can rent Hanfu/ethnic clothes to take photos.
• The night show may open after 17:30 in summer. The lighting show atmosphere is good. Follow the official notice.
• Bring a small amount of snacks and water, the consumption in the park is high, and keep your belongings well.
