Introduction
The Indian Museum, known as one of the three major museums in India, was built in 1875 and is an Italian style building. The museum is divided into six exhibition areas: archaeology, art, ethnology, geology, natural resources, and zoology, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India. The most abundant exhibit among them is the Archaeology Exhibition Hall, which houses cultural relics from India's ancient civilization to the Islamic era, as well as precious artworks from Buddhism and Hinduism. Its geological exhibition hall is known as the largest geological exhibition hall in Asia. The art exhibition hall showcases textiles, carpets, metal, and ivory artworks from various parts of India. The Ethnology Exhibition Hall introduces the customs, traditions, and local customs of various regions in India
