Introduction & nbsp; The Zhusha Hakka walled house is located in Lingtang Village, Nanjiang Town, Yuzhou District. It is a castle style group of Hakka residential buildings with defensive properties, where ethnic groups live together. The walled house has a history of more than 200 years, and the Huang Hakka residents living in it were relocated from Meixian, Guangdong during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The Zhusha Hakka walled house is built from east to west, backed by a hillside and built according to the situation. In front of the gate, there is a grassy field and a crescent shaped pond. The grassy field is used for drying grains, enjoying shade, and other activities. The pond has functions such as water storage, fish farming, theft prevention, fire prevention, and drought prevention. The entire enclosure covers an area of over 15000 square meters, with symmetrical longitudinal four row buildings on both sides centered around the ancestral hall. The enclosure walls are 6 meters high and 0.7 meters thick, forming a horseshoe shape that surrounds the entire village. The walls are filled with gun holes, and there are artillery towers on the walls that can be used for observation and shooting. Its defensive function is self-evident. Entering the enclosed house, one can understand the historical trajectory of the Hakka people who have lived together for nearly a thousand years through the solidified historical scars of the high walls and ruins. There are hundreds or even thousands of descendants of the same clan and surname living in a large enclosed house, reproducing and thriving. The enclosed house is a symbol of the Hakka people and a fortress that protects their lives and property from foreign invasion. The overall design and layout of the Zhusha Hakka walled house is reasonable, emphasizing the harmonious integration of human culture and landscape, and promoting the charm of Central Plains culture. It is the largest, most complete and typical Hakka residential building in Yulin and even Guangxi, and has great value for studying Hakka culture and developing Yulin tourism industry
