Introduction
& nbsp; Jiulong Mountain is located 3 kilometers south of the urban area of Yizhou. It is named after the nine peaks that connect it like a winding dragon. On the mountainside of the main peak of Jiulong Mountain, there is Danxia Rock, with a height of 20 meters and a width of 6 meters at the entrance. There are rear and top caves to exit. There is an oval shaped stalactite at the entrance, resembling a blue dragon holding a pearl. Legend has it that Zhang Ziming, the governor of Yizhou in the Song Dynasty, died of illness due to his meritorious service in praying for rain for the people in Jiulong Cave. His coffin was swallowed by a dragon. Yue Hesheng, the magistrate of Qingyuan in the Ming Dynasty, inscribed the four characters "Danxia Yi Tu" on the side wall of the rock. The mountains are beautiful and the caves are unique, with the setting sun shining brightly. The scenery was once called 'Danxia Sunset'. On the south side of Danxia Rock, there is Jiulong Cave, with the three characters "Wanyun Valley" carved in the Song Dynasty at the entrance. In front of the cave, there is a deep pool with the three characters "Jiulong Cave" engraved on it. There is a white stone screen inside the cave, and several winding flowing stone dams below, just like nine dragons playing in the water. There is a giant stone carved with the Nine Dragon God Stele in front of the pond. Because Zhang Ziming once prayed for rain here and received enlightenment, the Ming Dynasty worshipped the Nine Dragon God here
