 & nbsp; Located 1 kilometer northeast of Qitai County, it was built in the 14th year of the Tang Dynasty's Zhenguan era (640 AD) and covers an area of 17480 square meters. The Tang Pu class county town was first established in this area, and historians refer to this ancient county town site as the Tang Dynasty Dun Ancient City Site. According to historical records, this city was a Pu class county town under the jurisdiction of the Northern Court Protectorate of the Tang Dynasty. It was officially established as a county in the second year of Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty (702 AD) and is a key town on the eastern route of the Northern Court Protectorate. It is also a must pass for the international passage from Chang'an to Zhiye. During the Song and Yuan dynasties, the city was under the jurisdiction of the Marshal's Office in Beisi Ba Li. In the 24th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1759), the city was a military stronghold for the Qing army's westward advance. By the Guangxu period, the original state of the city corridor remained intact. The northeast corner of the city could be seen in its former glory, and the north wall was a beacon tower. The entire city was 490 meters long from the south to the north and 315 meters wide from east to west. There were large column foundations and ruins in the city, and the city wall corridors were clearly visible. Excavated cultural relics from the Tang and Song dynasties, including vessels, currency, pottery luxury mouths, flat bottomed pots, red pottery flat bottomed jars, gray pottery flat bottomed jars, Song celadon Ru Jiao charcoal, Yuan Shuangyu mirrors, Arabic silver coins, etc., had been collected from it.
