Introduction
& nbsp; The original name of the Three Gorges Ancestral Temple was Changfuyan, located on Minsheng Road in Three Gorges Town. It was founded in the 34th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1769) and mainly worships the Qingshui Ancestral Master (Chen Zhaoying), hence it is also known as the Ancestral Temple. Due to natural disasters and man-made calamities, the Ancestral Temple was rebuilt twice. The third time was after the restoration of China, led by artist Mr. Li Meishu, who designed and planned the temple to integrate history, culture, and art. The entire Ancestral Temple is a building with a wooden roof and a stone base, adopting a layout of five doors and three halls. There is no place in the temple that is not carved or carved, and the most exciting ones are stone and wood carvings. Among them, there are many national treasure level masters in the master's biography. The Ancestral Temple is not only the center of faith in the Three Gorges region, but also renowned both domestically and internationally for its exquisite carving, known as the "Oriental Art Palace". The exterior of the temple is exquisitely crafted, and the jade like hall of Qionglou fully showcases various flavors of traditional Chinese architecture, such as delicacy, elegance, and grandeur. It is known as one of the three major temples in Taipei, along with Longshan Temple and Baoan Temple in Taipei City
