Introduction
& nbsp; The Yingge Ceramics Museum is located at 200 Wenhua Road, Yingge Township, Taipei County. Yingge Town is located on the western longitudinal railway line. There are nearly 800 ceramic factories and pottery shops in the town. Walking on the road, you can see the scene of firing kilns to make tiles everywhere. The storefronts display antique ceramic products, and the air is also filled with ceramic ash and clay. Yingge, known as the "Jingdezhen of Taiwan", can be said to be synonymous with Taiwanese ceramic art. The story of Yingge ceramics should start from Jianshanpu Road. This place name with a strong grassroots flavor is the birthplace of Yingge ceramics, which is now commonly known as the Ceramic Old Street. During the reign of Emperor Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, Wu An and others from Quanzhou, Fujian began to make pottery here. Due to the abundant soil suitable for shaping pottery in the area, as well as the vast mountains and forests nearby, which provided sufficient firewood for firing kilns, they quickly gathered people to settle here and burn pottery. The local ceramic industry quickly flourished. Yingge's ceramic production has gradually expanded from general household items to high-quality industrial ceramics and building magnets
