Surrounded by Mount Li Dong, the North South Tian Shan, the Pillow Mountain, and the valley, it boasts an extraordinary aura and has long been known as one of Taiwan's twelve famous scenic spots. According to legend, in 1886 (the 12th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty), Taiwan Governor Liu Mingchuan entered the mountain and looked at this place from afar. He saw that its shape was like a triangular board, so he named it "Jiaoban Mountain". The main peak of Jiaoban Mountain is 640 meters above sea level and is a highland among the mountains. Surrounded by peaks, the valley flows back and forth, and cliffs and waterfalls fall, like a fairyland. There is a famous' waterfall in the stream 'that flows down straight, splashing pearls and snow, and shaking the valley with its sound. The mountains and forests are lush and charming, with towering ancient trees and a cool climate. It is a summer resort and is known as Mount Lu in Taiwan. There are many plum trees planted in the park. In spring, plum blossoms bloom and the fragrance of plum blossoms fills the garden, with a red, pink, and dark green color that is very charming; Behind Merlin is the Chiang Kai shek Mansion, a completely white wooden villa. Looking out of the museum, the cliffs and valleys face each other, adding to the feeling of deep mountains and valleys. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by a large fire in 1992, which is a great pity. This place is very suitable for hiking and sightseeing. There is also a stone step leading to the Dahan River, and a suspension bridge connects the two banks of the river, providing excellent scenery.
