&bsp& nbsp; Located in Yiyuan Lane, Maxing Village, Xiushui Township, also known as Chen Siyu Ancient Residence or Ma Mingshan Ancient Residence, it is the largest ancient house in Changhua County. It was built in the 26th year of the Qing Dynasty's Daoguang reign and has a history of over a hundred years. The ancient house covers an area of nearly 10000 square meters, second only to Banqiao Forest House and Wufeng Forest House in terms of scale. According to records, Chen Jiazeng sent people to the mainland to purchase Mount Wuyi fir as building materials, and invited mainland designers, architects and famous craftsmen to design and build on the platform. Therefore, the ancient buildings are all traditional buildings in the mainland, known as "traditional Chinese architecture" and "elaborate masterpiece of Tangshan craftsmen". The ancient house adopts a three in one style, built with red brick walls, blue-green porcelain windows, and gray stone tiles. Although it has been built for a hundred years, its grand scale still allows us to imagine its glorious scene and the classical beauty of traditional Chinese manors. The gatehouse, also known as the famous "Jishan Building", has a vacant room on the top floor with a swallowtail style eaves. It is made of tube shaped tiles and curtain tiles, decorated with flowers and plants, fitted with lenses, and decorated with carved beams and painted columns, forming the most exciting part of the entire building. There are three rooms on the ground floor, with a plaque hanging on the front of the passage reading 'Jishan Tower' in the middle. There are deep gardens inside Jishan Building, each with banyan trees, creating an elegant environment. There is a pavilion in front of the hall of the Xicuo residential area, with a well proportioned layout that is quaint and pleasing to the eye. The outer dragon is a high hall emperor and horse shaped eaves, with exquisite patterns on the walls.
