Introduction
& nbsp;& nbsp;& nbsp; The Avenue of Stars, themed around the development history of Hong Kong's film industry and aimed at praising the achievements of both on screen and behind the scenes filmmakers, is located on the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. The avenue is 440 meters long and extends from the Hong Kong Museum of Art to the New World Centre. The Hong Kong Walk of Fame is designed after the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the United States and was built by New World Group with a budget of HKD 40 million. It has received strong support and full participation from the Tourism Commission, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and Hong Kong Film Awards Association
