Introduction: At the northern foot of Cangcang Nine Peaks, on the banks of the vast Dianshan Lake, there is a fan-shaped town embedded in the lake and mountain scenery. Some people compare her to Venice in Shanghai, while others compare her to a shining pearl by the Dianshan Lake. This dazzling pearl is located at the transportation hub of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai provinces and cities, with a very advantageous geographical location. This is the famous millennium ancient town of Zhujiajiao. The ancient town is crisscrossed by rivers and ports, with nine long streets stretching along the river. Thousands of Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings stand by the water, and 36 stone bridges still retain the ancient style. There are numerous famous scenic spots and historical sites. After getting tired of the expensive artificial landscapes, people are not surprised that there is still a well preserved natural landscape in the suburbs of Shanghai that is authentic, full of mountains and waters. Here, one can find a way to return to nature and enjoy the wildness. No wonder a renowned professor from Tongji University exclaimed after inspecting Zhujiajiao, "Zhujiajiao has such a rich cultural heritage, which is not only a treasure of Shanghai, but also a national treasure. The famous late Taiwanese writer Sanmao was once fascinated by the layout of "small bridges, flowing water, and homes" here, and was intoxicated by the quiet and peaceful atmosphere where paintings and poetry can be found everywhere. After inspecting the ancient town of Zhujiajiao, Wu Bangguo, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, couldn't help but joyfully write down the words "National Historical Town of Zhujiajiao"

Development History
The famous town of Zhujiajiao has a long history. In 1958, during the large-scale steel smelting, the people of the town miraculously dried up the Beidian Lake in search of iron. At the bottom of the lake, a large number of relics from the Neolithic Age were unexpectedly discovered, which were proven to be cultural relics from the Majiabang culture, Songze culture, Liangzhu culture, and the Western Zhou to Spring and Autumn Warring States period. In 1959, a large number of stone knives, plows, spinning wheels, and printed pottery shards were salvaged from Dianshan Lake. These relics from the Neolithic to Warring States periods are enough to prove that the ancestors of Zhujiajiao lived and multiplied here thousands of years ago Zhujiajiao, with its unique natural environment and convenient waterway transportation, is home to a gathering of merchants and traders who come and go endlessly. It was once known as the "clothing and bedding world" in Jiangnan and became a giant town in the region. There is a poem that goes: "At six o'clock, the fish and rice village is bustling, and the people of Nanqiao avoid the small patrol. The two Jing (Zhujing and Fengjing) are not as good as the Zhujie Pavilion, and even after reading the picture, one will never know. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the rice industry in Zhujiajiao emerged, driving the prosperity of various industries. At that time, there were "three miles of long streets and a thousand shops", with numerous old and famous stores, as well as department stores in the north and south. The various industries were complete, and the rural areas were spread over a hundred miles in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Therefore, there was a saying that "three Jing (Zhujing, Fengjing, and Youjing) are not as good as one corner (Zhujiajiao)" The charming natural scenery of Zhujiajiao, a famous town, is located in one mountain and one lake. Zhenshan Zhenshui embodies the characteristics of the water town in Jiangnan. The mountain is called Dianshan, although it is not high, it has a great reputation and is a remnant of the Tianmu in western Zhejiang. This mountain is the beginning, like climbing a mountain to look at a lake, with the scenery of "Dianfeng Evening Glow" to enjoy Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Tourist AreaLake, also known as Dianshan Lake, is a natural freshwater lake with an area of 62 square kilometers. Most of the eastern part of the lake is in the Zhujiajiao scenic area, with 11 Hangzhou West Lake areas. When you take a boat tour of the lake, the vast water and sky are of one color, and the reeds in the lake area sway gently, startling wild ducks and water birds. You suddenly feel far away from the hustle and bustle and relaxed. The cultural landscape of Zhujiajiao, a famous town, is more charming and has the characteristics of an ancient town. It includes one bridge, one street, one temple, one temple, one hall, one pavilion, two gardens, three bays, and twenty-six lanes. If Zhouzhuang in Shuizhen, which is nine hundred years old, is small and exquisite, like jade from a small family, while Zhujiajiao, a thousand year old ancient town, has the grandeur and elegance of a noble lady. Firstly, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers, which is more than three times the area of Zhouzhuang. With a large family, there are more natural places to visit. The Caogang River divides Zhujiajiao into two halves, with Jingting Port on the north bank and North Street on the south bank. Both sides are dotted with winding alleys, granite streets, Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings with blue bricks and black tiles, and numerous historical relics One Bridge, the first stone arch Fangsheng Bridge in Shanghai, is also the largest five arch stone bridge in the Jiangnan region, with magnificent momentum. Standing at the top of the bridge, watching the fast boat rocking on July 27th is undoubtedly the best, and the magnificence of the other thirty or so ancient stone bridges is not inferior to that of Zhouzhuang. In terms of construction and craftsmanship, Zhujiajiao Zhonghe Bridge and Xizha Bridge are stronger than Zhouzhuang Shuangqiao, and those characteristic bridges are incomparable to Zhouzhuang. The "High and Low Bridge" located three steps away, the "Miniature Landscape" Kezhi Bridge, the "Kako" echoing Qijia Bridge, and the "Yongfeng Bridge" commemorating national humiliation One Street, that is the first Ming and Qing street in Shanghai, North Street. It has been weathered for a long time, yet it has been preserved so authentically. The unique construction of the "One Line Sky" is astonishing. The North Street, known as the "Three Mile Long Street with Thousands of Shops", is lined with old-fashioned shop signs and red lanterns, making it the busiest ancient street in the ancient towns of Jiangnan. It is beyond the reach of other ancient towns in Jiangnan One temple is Baoguo Temple, which is the lower house of Shanghai Jade Palace. Inside the temple, there is a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha carved from Burmese white jade, the first white jade Guanyin gifted by Singapore, and a millennium old ginkgo tree, known as the "Three Treasures" of Baoguo Temple<76. Among them, "arch of wooden architecture Stage", "Woodcut Beam" and "Nave Scroll" (now abandoned) are called "Three Treasures" of Chenghuang Temple, which are very rare One Hall is the Xi Family Hall, which combines the architectural achievements of the wealthy families in Jiangnan. Especially, the "wall door brick carving" is a masterpiece, with beautiful patterns, exquisite carvings, and superb techniques that leave people amazed. One museum, namely the "Wang Chang Memorial Hall," exhibits nearly a hundred physical exhibits of Wang Chang, who passed the imperial examination in the 19th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty and became a Right Assistant Minister of Justice, known as the "Seven Sons of Wuzhong," including wax figures, poetry, calligraphy, paintings, stone inscriptions, weaving machines, old-fashioned beds, etc. The content is rich, the historical materials are detailed, and the crystal position is extremely high Two gardens, namely Kezhi Garden and Zhuxi Garden, one ancient and one modern; One large, one exquisite, complementing each other beautifully. There is a book city and a rice fragrance village in the garden, with pavilions, towers, bridges, trees, halls, and pavilions. There are more than 200 buildings and living rooms in the garden, with a well arranged layout, appropriate density, and exquisite design. It is rare in private garden architecture. Zhuxi Garden, built in 1956, covers an area of over 70 acres and is small and exquisite with beautiful scenery. It is arranged into three gardens in spring, autumn, and winter, each with its own characteristics. It also has a children's playground, restaurant, tea room, and shops, making it an ideal place for resting, eating, shopping, and playing Three bays, namely: Sanyang Bay, Jiaozi Bay, and Mituo Bay. On the pedestrian street, there are houses all around, thinking that at the end of the road, when you turn right angles, a street market is right in front of you, creating a wonderful feeling of a unique cave. This kind of landscape with peculiar turns on the old street is rare in other ancient towns and cannot be seen without Zhujiajiao Twenty six lanes, in fact, there are more than 26 ancient lanes in Zhujiajiao. Each street has its own lane, with roads leading to streets, streets leading to lanes, and lanes leading to lanes, forming a network chessboard pattern. The ancient lanes and alleys in Zhujiajiao are famous for their abundance, antiquity, uniqueness, and depth, which cannot be compared to other ancient towns in Jiangnan. Walking through alleys and alleys is like entering a trance formation, with endless fun, exploring ancient and secluded places, experiencing the charm of northern hutongs, and having a similar effect.
