Introduction&bsp; The sentence is:; Dingxiang Garden was originally the private garden of Li Hongzhang, a minister of the Beiyang government in the late Qing Dynasty. In the 1860s, Li Hongzhang invited the then American architect Rogers to come to Shanghai for design and construction. The Western style garden official residence building in this garden is integrated with the Jiangnan gardens in China. There are three Western style garden villas built in the garden, among which Building 1 is the Dingxiang Building where Li Hongzhang and Dingxiang live, and the second floor is an American style villa building from the late 19th century. The area is now known as Dingxiang Garden and has been listed as an excellent modern architectural protection unit in Shanghai.
