Introduction Longhua Tower is located in Longhua Town, Xuhui District. According to legend, it was built in the fifth year of the Chiwu reign of Wu in the Three Kingdoms period (242 AD). Kang Senghui obtained 13 five colored relics, and Sun Quan ordered the construction of 13 pagodas to store the relics. Longhua was one of them, which was destroyed in the war at the end of the Tang Dynasty. In the second year of Taiping Xingguo in the Northern Song Dynasty (977), Wu Yue Wu Qian Shu was rebuilt. The existing tower is a brick and wood structure in the style of a pavilion, originally from the Northern Song Dynasty, with seven levels and eight corners, and a height of 40.4 meters. Each tower has eaves on top and corridors below, with raised eaves and wind chimes hanging. At the top of the tower, there is an 8-meter-high tower brake with a beautiful shape.
