Introduction to attractions
The Pangir Monster Stone Forest is located on the ridge and slopes of Pangirtak Mountain in Toksun, 55 kilometers southeast of Toksun County, and is accessible by road nearby. It is a unique peak forest landform formed by erosion and wind erosion. The mountains and rocks resemble antelopes with their heads raised, wild and imaginative, fierce beasts and ghosts with ferocious faces, and ever-changing clouds, making them spectacular and interesting. The rocks are mostly Carboniferous volcanic rocks and breccia tuffs, with colors of bluish gray and brownish red commonly seen.
