Hassumei, short for Halawusu Sea in Mongolian, means Black Water Lake, which is a natural lake with an area of about 32 square kilometers. The water surface area is 32 square kilometers, with a depth of about 2 meters. The bottom of the lake is overgrown with weeds, and the water quality is fertile. It is rich in fish such as grass, silver carp, carp, crucian carp, flathead bream, Wuchang fish, as well as river shrimp and crabs.
