The West Dongting Lake Wetland Park is formed by the convergence of Yuan and Li rivers, with a marshy landscape characterized by water immersion as a lake and water falling as a continent. The West Dongting Lake is surrounded by distant mountains and swallows the Yangtze River, with vast blue waves that stretch far and wide. It is renowned worldwide for its diverse and beautiful scenery. This area has winding harbor channels, abrupt hills, lakes outside the lake, islands in the lake, scattered fishing sails, green reeds, fish jumping to the bottom of the water, and seagulls and herons soaring.
