Scenic spot description
Yuanmingyuan, a large imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty in China, is located at 28 Qinghua West Road, Haidian District, Beijing. It covers an area of over 350 hectares, with a water surface area of about 140 hectares. It consists of Yuanmingyuan, Qichun Garden, and Changchun Garden, with Yuanmingyuan being the largest, and therefore collectively referred to as Yuanmingyuan (also known as Yuanming Three Gardens). The Yuanmingyuan not only gathers several famous gardens and scenic spots in Jiangnan, but also transplants Western garden architecture, which is the culmination of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign garden art at that time. It can be regarded as one of the treasures of human culture and was the largest museum in the world at that time
