Nanshan is located 40 kilometers southwest of Sanya City, Hainan Province. It is the southernmost mountain in China and has a tropical marine monsoon climate. Its air and sea quality ranks first in the country, with a forest coverage rate of 97%. It is a large park showcasing traditional Chinese Buddhist culture
Nanshan, facing the South China Sea, is the southernmost mountain in China and a place of auspiciousness and blessings. The main attractions in Nanshan include Nanshan Temple, Sea Guanyin, Bu Er Fa Men, Guanyin Culture Garden, Tianzhu Holy Relics, Buddhist Scenic View Garden, Ten Directions Tallinn and Guigui Garden, Buddhist Cultural Exchange Center, and Su Zhai Shopping Street. Among them, the 108 meter sea Guanyin statue is undoubtedly one of the highlights. Currently, it is the world's first golden and jade statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and is a treasure known throughout Hainan. Nanshan has always been known as a place of auspiciousness and blessings. According to Buddhist scriptures, Guanyin Bodhisattva, who saved suffering and difficulties, made twelve vows to save all sentient beings, the second of which is the "Longevity in the South China Sea" vow. The famous line that has been passed down through the ages in China, 'Fortune is as good as the East China Sea, and longevity is as good as the South China Sea', further illustrates the long-standing connection between the culture of South China Sea and the culture of longevity and happiness#
