Scenic spot description
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located at No. 279, Jinbian Road, Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot District, Zhangjiajie City. In August 1988, Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Tourist Area was listed as a national key scenic spot; In December 1992, the unique quartz sandstone peak forest was listed on the World Heritage List by the United Nations, and in February 2004, it was included in the World Geopark; In 2007, it was listed as one of the first national 5A level tourist attractions in China, with a total park area of 4810 hectares
The natural scenery of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Tourist Area is famous for its peaks, valleys and forests. Among them, there are more than 3000 peculiar peaks, resembling humans, beasts, and objects, with lifelike images and magnificent momentum.
