Scenic spot description
Every spring and summer, hundreds of wild rare birds gather here to reproduce, inhabit, play and forage. There are over 150 precious waterfowl here, including swans, swans, egrets, herons, mandarin ducks, and more. Among them, cranes have the most species, with 15 species worldwide and 9 species in China. Zhalong is known for its red crowned cranes, white cranes, gray cranes, and other 6 species, earning it the title of "Hometown of Cranes". Every March when spring is warm and flowers bloom, various cranes come in large groups from the distant south, building nests and settling down, laying eggs and hatching chicks. It is not until early November, when winter is approaching, that cranes gather again and move southward with their families#
