Traffic situation

The Hulunbuir Grassland can be reached by plane. Hailar has flights to and from cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hohhot, Harbin, Wuhan, and Hong Kong, as well as flights to Manzhouli. There are mainly flights to and from Beijing and Hohhot, but the frequency is relatively low. It takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes from Beijing to Hailar, and about 2 hours from Hohhot to Hailar to reach 1. Scenic spot description

Hulunbeier Grassland is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and on the Hulunbeier Plateau to the west of the Great Khingan Mountains. It is named after Hulun Lake and Beier Lake. [1] The overall terrain is high in the east and low in the west, with an altitude between 650 and 700 meters, a width of about 350 kilometers from east to west, and a length of about 300 kilometers from north to south. The total area is about 113000 square kilometers (149 million acres), of which 8.3333 million hectares are usable grassland. Hulunbuir Grassland is a world-renowned natural pasture, one of the four major grasslands in the world, known as the best grassland in the world, and one of the top 20 tourist attractions in China. Hulunbuir Grassland is the birthplace of many ancient civilizations and nomadic peoples. Ethnic groups such as Donghu, Xiongnu, Xianbei, Shiwei, Huihe, Turkic, Khitan, Jurchen, and Mongolian once thrived here, and are praised by the academic community as the "cradle of nomadic peoples in northern China", occupying a high position in world history.
