Tianmen Mountain

1. Take a bus to the bus station in the center of Zhangjiajie city, and you can take the bus to Tianmen Mountain. There are multiple bus routes departing from the bus station, and you can choose according to your own needs. The bus fare from the city center to Tianmen Mountain is 15 yuan.

@Tianmen Mountain, formerly known as Songliang Mountain, is located at No. 11 Dayong Middle Road, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province. It is a remnant of the Wuling Mountains that extends eastward into the Dongting Lake Plain, with an elevation of 1518.6 meters

The Tianmen Mountain uplift began with the Yanshan Movement, followed by the Himalayan orogeny, which created the main body of the Tianmen Mountain uplift. Through strong erosion and leaching, it formed the current karst mountainous terrain. Tianmen Mountain belongs to the subtropical mountain prototype monsoon climate, and the forest at the top of Tianmen Mountain is a primitive sub forest with various precious tree species and abundant wildlife resources

Tianmen Mountain Tourist Area has a total area of 96 square kilometers, with a peak area of 2 square kilometers. It integrates peaks, rocks, springs, streams, clouds, and forests, and is a combination of grandeur, wonder, beauty, danger, and tranquility. It is divided into four major tourist areas: Biye Yaotai, Mixian Qijing, Tianjie Buddhist Kingdom, and Tianmen Cave
