Gulangyu Islet

Take a ferry. Purchase a ferry ticket at the ferry terminal in Xiamen, and then take the ferry to Gulangyu Ferry Terminal. The ferry ticket price is about 35 yuan/person, and the journey takes about 15 minutes.

@Gulangyu Island, formerly known as "Yuanshazhou" and nicknamed "Yuanzhouzi", was named "Wulongyu" during the Southern Song Dynasty. There is a sea eroded cave in the southwest of the island that is hit by waves and sounds like a drum. It has been renamed "Gulangyu" since the Ming Dynasty and is located in Gulangyu Street, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It covers an area of 1.88 square kilometers and faces Xiamen Island across the sea. The highest point is Riguangyan, and it faces Xiamen Shimao Strait Building, Xiamen University, and other buildings on Xiamen Island across the sea
