Wuyi Palace Scenic Area is the core part of Mount Wuyi National Scenic Area, also known as "Wuyi Palace". The scenic area is located in Qingchuan, the end of the Jiuqu River raft tour. Wuyi Palace, also known as Huixian Temple, Chongyou Temple and Wannian Palace, is located at the south foot of Dawang Peak of Mount Wuyi Mountain, about 15 kilometers south of Chong'an County, Fujian Province, and in front of Jiuqu Brook. It is the place where emperors of all dynasties offered sacrifices to Wuyi God, and it is also one of the six famous temples in the Song Dynasty. Located in front of a stream, backed by a beautiful peak, and surrounded by lush green rivers, this area is a gathering place for tourists. Founded during the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty (742-755 AD), it has a history of over 1000 years
