Nanqing Garden

Nanqing Garden Scenic Spot is located in the center of Mount Sanqing in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It is the most wonderful scenic spot in Mount Sanqing's natural landscape, with an average elevation of 1577 meters. Nanqing Garden, the essence of the natural landscape of Mount Sanqing, intensively displays the geomorphic features of granite peak forest formed by geological evolution of 1.4 billion years. The scope includes a loop from Liuxia Terrace, passing through Yuhuang Peak, Giant Python Coming out of the Mountain, Goddess of Spring, Dujuan Valley, Yixian to Youxian Valley. Nanqing Garden is the most energy consuming scenic spot in Mount Sanqing besides Yujing Peak. The 299 steps of Yixiantian are the most cautious sections. Moreover, the Nanqingyuan scenic area is densely packed with attractions, and one may miss out on many of them if not careful. So before visiting Nanqing Garden, it is necessary to ensure sufficient physical strength. Due to the circular shape of the scenic trail, clockwise travel can save a lot of energy, and when passing through the first line of sky, it is downhill (the danger of the first line of sky can be felt even more downwards). The route starts from Liuxia Terrace and ends at the foot of Youxian Valley. Several major scenic spots can take a short break, such as Yuhuangding, Giant Python Coming Out of the Mountain, Sichun Goddess, Yutai, and Jade Maiden Enjoyment.
