Haiping Yi Ethnic Town

Take bus No. 11 from the urban area to the Liupanshui Municipal Party School. Take the tourist bus line directly to Haiping at the bus stop in front of the Liupanshui Municipal Party School.

@Haiping Yi Culture Town is located in Yeyuhaijing District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. It is the core area of the "one core, two wings" planning layout of Yeyuhaijing District, covering a total area of 21 square kilometers and about 28 kilometers away from the urban area of Liupanshui. The word Haiping comes from the Yi language, meaning "a place of joy". The town is centered around Yi culture and has built the largest Yi style architectural complex in the country. The town has a flat terrain, surrounded by mountains, built in mountainous areas, and is densely forested. There are three treasures in the small town: one is the largest Torch Square in the country, and the other refers to the highest statue of the founder of the Yi ethnic group, Ximuzhe.
