Taihe Tofu has a long history of production, with relevant records dating back to the Three Kingdoms period. The area where Taihe Tofu is produced is Taihe Town, Liangzihu District, Ezhou City, Hubei Province. Specifically, it includes Taihe Neighborhood Committee, Xiebu Village, Jinli Village, Xincheng Village, Xiepei Village, Kefan Village, Nongke Village, Malong Village, Chaoying Village, Zitan Village, Xinjian Village, and Xinwu Village in Taihe Town, Liangzihu District, Ezhou City, Hubei Province. The region has distinct four seasons, abundant rainfall, sufficient sunshine, and a long frost free period. The annual average temperature is 17 ℃, the absolute minimum temperature is ≥ -7 ℃, the average temperature in January is ≥ 4 ℃, and the annual accumulated temperature is above 5000 ℃ with a temperature ≥ 10 ℃.
