Introduction
& nbsp; The Teramkanli Glacier is located below the Teramkanli Peak (7441 meters above sea level) in the Karakoram Mountains. The glacier is over 28 kilometers long, covers an area of 124.53 square kilometers, has a terminal height of 4520 meters, and a snow line height of 5390 meters. The net ice storage capacity of the glacier is 26.774 cubic kilometers, which can be converted into 2.2758 billion cubic meters of water, making it a true "solid water tower". The most peculiar natural landscape of the Teramkanli Glacier is the ice tower forest, which reaches tens of meters high and develops from an altitude of 5200 meters down to the end of the glacier, with a length of over 11 kilometers. The continuous ice towers on the glacier form spectacular ice peaks, often accompanied by ice lakes and rippling blue waves. The upper part of the ice tongue has a clean ice surface, and ice towers and various ice sculpture forms can be seen everywhere
