Introduction & nbsp; Also known as San Diego Battery, it is located at the western end of the West Bay and has a history of over 350 years. The Macau government built fortifications before 1622 AD to defend the entrance waterway of Macau. Inside the castle, there is a small Catholic church called St. James's Chapel. Inside the church, there are exquisite statues of Saint Gobain and ceramic tile portraits of Mother Teresa and Queen Isabella. In 1981, the castle was renovated into the San Diego Hotel, but still maintained its original features, combining cultural relics such as city walls, tunnels, and churches with Portuguese style design. The hotel is divided into 4 floors, with paths and corridors connecting the buildings on each floor. The white exterior walls and red roof stand out in the green mountain scenery
