Introduction Beitang is located at the northernmost end of Tanggu District, Tianjin City. It is adjacent to Bohai Bay to the east, Tianjin Port to the south, the development zone to the west, and the chemical park (area) to the north. The natural environment is peaceful and quiet, and it has been known as the "hometown of Zeguo" since ancient times. In the early Qing Dynasty, it was already a famous fishing town in Tianjin, Beijing, and the Yidong area. In the 21st century, the tourism resources of Beitang have become increasingly prominent. Beitang seafood, Beitang sea fair, one-day fishing at sea, as well as strong local customs, traditions, and honest people have become unique tourist attractions in Beitang. With the determination of the goal of relocating the administrative center of Tanggu District to the north and the maturity and development of Tianjin Binhai New Area, Beitang has once again become the focus of attention due to its geographical advantages. The call for developing Beitang resources and rebuilding Beitang's glory is becoming increasingly strong. At present, the tourism development of the Fisherman's Wharf on Sanhe Island in Beitang has been put on the government's agenda. In the near future, Beitang will be built into a multifunctional tourist area with rich historical and cultural connotations and a triangular wetland nature reserve style, integrating Haihe River sightseeing, Fisherman's Wharf, international cruise ships, seafood catering, and cultural customs. Here, we will showcase the unique historical style and cultural heritage of Beitang Ancient Town through text and images, in order to deepen people's understanding and love for it.
