Introduction
&bsp; ?? The Tear Spring is located in Imamumahede Village in the southern part of Cele County, on the right bank terrace of the Ashi River tributary. ???? The origin of the Tear Spring is fan edge overflow. The spring water comes from a small amount of precipitation that seeps down from the surface of the inclined plain of the Kunlun Mountain front alluvial fan. When the current seepage encounters the erosion surface aquitard composed of Tertiary brownish red sandstone and mudstone, it slopes down along the aquitard and flows down to the small gullies on the right bank terrace and steep cliffs of the Axi River tributary. It is exposed in the form of numerous small springs and converges into a small stream. The spring water is clear and transparent, with a flow rate of about 0.3 meters per second. The locals consider it a sacred spring, and the spring water rushes and cuts a red canyon about 12 meters wide and over 20 meters deep on the red rock layer. From a distance, it looks like a magnificent red waterfall. Due to the nourishment of the spring water, several ancient poplar trees grow next to the ditch, with a height of about 30-40 meters, a diameter of 1.6 meters, and a circumference of 14.2 meters. ???? The area around the Tear Spring is a sloping plain with alluvial fans, and the spring water flows out under the gravel layer. The changes in water culture are closely related to the amount of precipitation in front of the Kunlun Mountains, which can be large or small. The Tear Spring is regarded as a sacred spring by local villagers, serving as a place of worship, drinking tap water, and irrigating farmland. ???? The spring water is utilized by the villagers, and the transportation here is relatively convenient with beautiful scenery.
