Introduction to Dongfeng Sika Deer

Dongfeng County is globally recognized as the birthplace of artificially domesticated Sika deer in the world. The region is located in the central southern part of Jilin Province, upstream of the Huifa River, and belongs to a semi mountainous area with one water and four fields but five mountains. In the Qing Dynasty, it was opened up as the Shengjingde enclosure and historically known as the "Royal Deer Garden". Then on August 4, 1902 (July 1, the 28th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty), Jianxian was established, which is now under the jurisdiction of Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province. This region is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Sika Deer" and is a national commodity grain production base county, as well as one of the three folk painting towns in China

It borders Qingyuan County in Liaoning Province to the southwest, Meihekou City to the southeast, Xifeng County in Liaoning Province to the west by mountains, and Dongfeng County across the river from Yitong County to the north. The average altitude is 374 meters, the total area is 2521.5 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 1.1 million acres. What are the product features of Dongfeng sika deerThe deer is relatively small in size and has a short body. The average height, length, and weight of adult male deer are 98 centimeters, 92 centimeters, and 100 kilograms, respectively. The average height, length, and weight of adult female deer are 80 centimeters, 85 centimeters, and 62 kilograms, respectively. Its antler shape is typical of three circles: the main stem circle (i.e. the tube circle), the rim circle, and the mouth circle.
