In history, Jieshou colored pottery was mainly distributed on the south bank of the Yinghe Jieshou section in Anhui Province, scattered in 13 villages. As most of the villagers in each village made a living by smelting pottery, and the villages were all named after pottery kilns, they were commonly known as the "Thirteen Kilns", namely Lu Kiln, Wei Kiln, Later Wei Kiln, Ji Kiln, Qian Ji Kiln, Zhu Kiln, Yin Kiln, Gao Kiln, Pen Zhang Kiln, Tian Kiln, Shen Zhang Kiln, Han Kiln, and Wang Kiln.
