Daguan Park is located on the banks of Dianchi Lake, about 2 kilometers west of Kunming City. It was first built in the first year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1368 AD). In the 35th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1696 AD), Daguan Tower was built, and the park was named after it. It covers an area of over 700 acres and is the largest park in the city. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, the renowned scholar Sun Ranweng was inspired to climb the Grand View Tower and proudly wrote a 180 word couplet, vividly showcasing the scenery of Dianchi Lake and the thousands of years of history of Yunnan to the world. As soon as the couplet was released, it immediately alarmed all directions, and people eagerly spread it, becoming famous throughout the world and hailed as the "first couplet in the world"
The Grand View Tower is renowned both domestically and internationally due to its association with the Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower, and Tengwang Pavilion Dong Biwu, Guo Moruo and others gave high praise. In terms of gardening techniques, the garden workers closely focused on the layout of the Sun Weng Changlian artistic conception, continuously improving the level of the garden, fully showcasing the unique features of "Nine Summer Hibiscus, Three Spring Willow Trees" and "Ocean View". The garden is lush with flowers and trees, with rockeries, pavilions, small bridges, and flowing water creating an elegant and timeless atmosphere

The Daguan Tower near Huapu preserves the classical garden architecture complex built since the 29th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1690), including the square octagonal through the center double eave gatehouse near Huapu, the single eave Xieshan carved doors and windows of the Cuigeng Hall, Guanjia Hall, Chengbi Hall and other ancient buildings, as well as the uniquely shaped Mumeng Pavilion, Yongyue Pavilion and the lakeside corridor

Xiyuan Pier
1. Parent child Cruise: Kunming Xiyuan Pier is one of the important docking points for cruise ships in Dianchi Lake, located in Daguan Park. Citizens and tourists can go to Daguan Park and then take a boat tour of Dianchi Lake at Xiyuan Pier.
Yuyuan

2. Rose Garden: Various types of roses are planted in the garden, ranging from delicate red, gentle pink to pure white, as well as a variety of rare flower varieties. During the blooming season, the entire garden is like an ocean of flowers.

Grand View Tower:Grand View Tower is a triple eaved glazed corner wooden structure building, covering an area of about 400 square meters, with a stable and exquisite overall shape, harmonious and beautiful.
. The elegant names of the pavilions between them showcase the characteristics of Qing Dynasty architecture and old Kunming architecture. The long couplet hanging in front of the building was written by the famous Qing Dynasty scholar Sun Ranweng, with a total of 180 words in the upper and lower couplets, and is known as the "best couplet in the world".
Near Huapu: "Near Huapu" means a small island close to Mount Taihua. This is a water lake beach, named "Near Huapu" because it faces Dianchi Lake and is close to Mount Taihua, which is now Xishan. On both sides of the gatehouse, there is a couplet that reads' Once the sea was difficult to reach, I wanted to climb a tall building and dock my boat '. It was inscribed by Ma Rulong after the reconstruction of the Grand View Tower in the seventh year of the Tongzhi reign, and is made of marble along with the words' Near Huapu'
Range Rover Pavilion: The Range Rover Pavilion was first built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It faces north and south, with a two-story five bay wooden structure and a gable roof. The south side is covered with a corridor, and the main hall wall is decorated with the calligraphy book "Long Song of Dianchi Lake" written by calligrapher Zhao Heqing. The Range Rover Pavilion corresponds to the Grand View Tower in the north and south, and is an important building in the vicinity of Huapu. On April 7, 1991, the Range Rover Pavilion was destroyed by a fire caused by careless use of electricity, and was rebuilt in May of the same year. The newly built two-story brick and concrete structure antique building of Range Rover Pavilion covers an area of 180.25 square meters, and the orientation from north to south has been changed to east to west. The dark ancient house: every step is full of unpredictable and thrilling experiences. Guanjia Hall: "Surrounded by fragrant rice," hence the name Guanjia Hall. The Guanjia Hall is a square plan with three bays, with a width of 10 meters and a depth of 5 meters. The four corridors are 2 meters deep, facing south and north, passing through the hall. Facing the courtyard garden is the "Caiyun Cliff" mountain and water terrace. The Guanjia Hall is like a "flower hall" in the nearby Huapu Garden, and is a temporary resting place for visitors. It forms a barrier with the "Caiyun Cliff" and also vaguely shows the "fragrant rice around" in the distance, hence the name Guanjia Hall
Three arch bridge: The three arch bridge in Daguan Park is an important bridge connecting the north and south parks of Kunming Daguan Park. This bridge is 47 meters long and 5.5 meters wide, built with blue bricks and stones. The bridge body is carved with the old eight scenic spots of Kunming. The bridge not only connects the north and south gardens in terms of functionality, but also becomes a highlight of Daguan Park due to its unique design and sculptural art<94
Yongyue Pavilion: Built during the Kangxi period, it echoes the north and south sides of Daguan Tower in the vicinity of Huapu Garden. The Yongyue Pavilion is exquisite and elegant in structure. It is a wooden structure with two eaves and four corners pyramidal roof square pavilion. The overall width is 9 meters, the corridor is 2 meters deep, the pavilion is 8 meters high, and the plane is square. The floor plan of the four sided newspaper building is in a cross shape, which is more magnificent in appearance than the Grand View Tower, but also very coordinated, complementing each other's scenery. The beams, columns, foreheads, and rafters of the pavilion are painted and painted, especially the wooden planks with "plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo, chrysanthemums" and "fishing, woodcutting, plowing, and reading" that stand out. Scholars and scholars often gather again to drink and compose poetry. The Yongyue Pavilion is nestled among ancient trees, and the front and back halls offer a leisurely view of the colorful scenery in the nearby Huapu Garden
Qianyin Hall: The Qianyin Hall in Daguan Park is located near the west of Huapu, surrounded by water on both sides and connected to the Changlian Scenic Gallery. It was renovated in 2014. Inside the hall, you can enjoy book and art exhibitions, and outside the hall, you can enjoy tea. It is one of the ideal places to relax in the garden. Qianyin Monk, a monk from Hubei, built a thatched hut in Jinhuapu in the 21st year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty
Mumeng Pavilion: Mumeng Pavilion is a connecting landscape near the south of Huapu Ancient Corridor. It is a green tile flush gable roof with two slopes, a square plane with three bays, a width of 10 meters, a depth of 5 meters, and a single-sided eaves gallery. Its shape and size are small and exquisite Lou Wai Lou: Across from the Grand View Tower is Lou Wai Lou, located to the southeast of the Grand View Tower, surrounded by water on all sides, connected by willow embankments, and facing the Grand View Tower across three pools of Yin Yue Lake. To the northeast of the building is a large lawn in the park, to the southeast is a waterway, and to the southwest is the Grass Sea of Dianchi Lake. The entrance road is connected to the East West Willow Embankment, and to the southwest and north are wide lake surfaces with excellent scenery. The Louwailou was built in 1981, and its shape resembles a painted boat extending into the waterway of Dianchi Lake. Painting three sides facing the water, floors, glazed gable roof, and outer spiral "gangway". The main building on the second floor, together with the stone statue, looks like an ancient building ship sailing leisurely from afar. What's even more wonderful is that the Grand View Tower and the outer buildings complement each other's scenery. No matter where you stand, you can enjoy and complement each other, creating a unique charm. Strolling along the embankment, the gentle breeze blows gently. Watching the sleeping Western Hills and listening to the sound of waves crashing against the shore is even more delightful South Garden of Daguan Garden: Across the Daguan River from the outer building is South Garden, also known as "Yu Garden" or "Yu Family Garden". It was the villa of Kunming Mayor Yu Enxi during the Republic of China era, built in 1927. Due to its location on the south side of Daguan Park, it is named "Daguan Tower South Garden". As you walk west from the pier outside the building, you can see a clear pool of water flowing from the ground towards the center of the lake. This is an unbounded pool, built in 2014 and adjacent to Dianchi Lake. It is one of the most representative "unbounded" spaces in the park, with an unbounded viewpoint.
