
The main peak of the Changbai Mountains is located in the southeast of Jilin Province, which is the birthplace of the Yalu River, the Songhua River and the Tumen River. It is the birthplace of the Manchu ethnic group in China and a sacred mountain of Manchu culture. The word "Changbai" in the the Changbai Mountains also has a beautiful meaning, that is, to look conservative, to the white head, represents people's yearning and praise for loyalty and perfect love. Changbai Mountain was first recorded in written records in China over 4000 years ago. The Shan Hai Jing referred to it as "Bu Xian Mountain", while the Northern Wei referred to it as "Tu Tai Mountain", the Tang referred to it as "67", the Tang referred to it as "68", the Tang referred to it as "Tai Bai Mountain", and the Jin Dynasty began to refer to it as "Changbai Mountain"
