Jiunvxian Lake Scenic Area is located at the intersection of Qinhe River and Changhe River, 30 kilometers east of the urban area of Jincheng City and 20 kilometers west of Yangcheng County of Jincheng City. Jiunvxian Lake
It is named after one of the ancient eight scenic spots in Yangcheng, the "Jiunvxiantai", and the first spring in Shanxi, the "Yanhe Spring", which stored water to form a lake. Its main landscape is a high gorge flat lake formed by intercepting the Qin River waterway with a hydroelectric dam. The lake surface is more than 10 kilometers long and has a total area of 13 square kilometers.
