@Changbai Mountain is a famous mountain in Northeast China and has been a sacred territory of China since ancient times. It is the source of the Songhua River, Tumen River, and Yalu River. Named after its many main peaks of white pumice and snow, it is the boundary mountain between China and North Korea. In order to better protect and develop Changbai Mountain, the People's Government of Jilin Province designated the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve as early as 1960 and established the Changbai Mountain Reserve Management Bureau, covering an area of 196465 hectares. In 1961, a 215000 hectare Changbai Mountain National Nature Reserve was established for protective development
