Introduction
Xueling spruce is a unique tree species in the Tianshan forest. In the depths of the majestic Tianshan Mountains, it stands tall and straight, with lush greenery throughout the year, climbing slopes and stretching endlessly, like a green Great Wall built along the mountain. The wind blows through the forest sea, the sound of pine waves echoes, the green waves undulate, and their momentum is like a tide. Xueling spruce, an evergreen tree with needle shaped leaves that are slightly curved; The fruit ball is oblong in shape and brown in color. The Xueling spruce in the Tianshan Mountains is said to have migrated from the Qinghai Tibet Plateau over 40 million years ago and evolved into a unique species in the northwest; And the most magnificent trees. More than 90% of the forest land in the Tianshan Mountains has the growth of Xueling spruce. On the shady slopes of the Zhongshan belt at an altitude of 1400-2700 meters, Xueling spruce peaks continue to rise, winding east-west. Its lower edge is often mixed with tall broad-leaved forests, lush and colorful, forming a beautiful scenery. The Nalati Mountain on the banks of the Ili River is the most lush area of Xueling spruce. The unique warm and humid climate promotes the fast growth, high density, and high yield of spruce. The snow capped spruce here has a height of 50-60 meters and annual rings of 300-400 years or more. The tree crown is narrow and long, and the main trunk is thick and straight, like a folded giant umbrella rising from the ground, layer by layer. Each hectare can produce over 1000 cubic meters of wood. Such a large and vast primitive forest is rare even in the world, and can be called the essence of Tianshan forest.
